The Enneagram Four: Core Fixations, Subtypes, and Examples Hey guys, so this is is going to be the first out of a series of Enneagram blogs for each of the 27 subtypes. I figured I would start with the Enneagram Four because, well, I reread the book recently, this is my core enneagram type, and this is probably one of the most butchered Enneagram types in internet discourse (besides maybe E8, E5, and E6). In my opinion, this is one of the most misunderstood Enneagram types. Yeah yeah, I know I'm a 1-to-1 recreation of the stereotypes, but many write off the Enneagram Four as being this "whiny," "entitled," and "selfish" individual, and want to avoid being typed as one by any means possible (like myself at one point). Others intriniscally link this type to depression , and just because they are melancholic, type themselves as E4. This Enneagram type is probably one of the most commonly mistyped ones (alongside E5s and E8s) because of these misunders...
